My mission is to empower people (particularly young people) from the Black and Brown communities. They are the future leaders that can empower others. They are parents, teachers etc of children who often never get out of their neighborhoods which limit their ability to dream and grow.

STORY

Before this business I joined a company called Stanley Home Products in 1971. In that company I was trained to do in the home demonstrations and sell the products. Every home I went into I offered the lady that hosted the party to get the earnings from the evening. I started by telling each one of them that if they were interested in earning the monies rather than a gift, I would work for them with all proceeds going toward their new business. I created hundred’s in my down line an as a result was promoted to one of twelve Region Vice Presidents in the country. I was with Stanley Home Products until August of 2018 when they went out of business.

I began my travel career in 2008 because a friend of mine told me that If I liked to travel then it would be a good idea to join the company. I did not join to earn money but to get the perks of perhaps paying less for what I liked doing. I continued to do what I did in my previous company by offering everyone who traveled with me the opportunity to get their own commissions. Surge became important to me because the first time I met Coach I could feel his passion and desire to help others win, I have stayed with Surge because I still have a desire to help fulfill Coach’s Mission.

The way to succeed is to be willing to share the opportunity noting that the more we share the bigger the return. Always being honest, trustworthy and making certain people know how much you care. Building relationships one person at a time, encouraging and consistently finding things to recognize.

I previously had a weekly meeting when I had a brick and mortar in New York. I have relied on webinars and calls done by my Director. I realize I need to begin at least one weekly call or zoom with my team to get them working as a team again. The name of my team is “We’re All In” it was taken from a sermonette done by Coach’s wife.
